Generations Gym Rules​

Rules apply to both Gym Leaders & Challengers unless stated otherwise.

Gyms Format: 6v6 S/V National Dex OU

General Rules
- You may not use any items or Pokémon banned in the S/V National Dex OU Tier unless stated otherwise.
- You cannot use Pokemon with the following abilities: Arena Trap, Moody, Power Construct or Shadow Tag.
- You must follow the following clauses in all battles: Bag, Evasion, Evasion Ability, OHKO, Sleep, Species [For more info Click Here [https://www.smogon.com/sv/articles/clauses].
- Blastoise Clause: You may not Mega Evolve a Blastoise that knows the move Shell Smash.
- You are not allowed to use any of the Pokemon banned in S/V National Dex OU (Click here for more info!)
- Battle Rules should always be used to raise the level of Challengers Pokemon to lvl 100.
- FEAR is banned.
- All Fusions are banned
- Dynamaxing is banned

Challenger Rules
- You must lead with the pokemon you send out originally
- No leaking the pokemon of the leaders in any way
- No sharing strategies or teams with other challengers

Leader Rules
- Gym Leaders may utilize Mega Pokémon if their original typing matches the gym type. If the Pokémon is Mega Evolved into the gym type, that is also permitted - so long as the Mega evolution is completed on the first turn it is thrown out in battle. (For example, Mega Charizard X may be used in the Dragon Gym if it is mega evolved on the first turn of combat; Mega Altaria cannot be used in the Flying Gym.)
- You must have at least 3 Pokémon of each type for dual type gyms. For example, the Ground/Fairy Gym needs to have 3 Fairy and 3 Ground Type Pokémon.

- The following Pokémon are unbanned and may be used by both Challengers and Gym Leaders which matching typings:

> Mega Blastoise (excluded from the "2 per team" rule)
> Darkrai
> Dragapult
> Flutter Mane
> Giratina
> Genesect
> Iron Bundle
> Sneasler
> Shaymin-Sky
> Roaring Moon
> Walking Wake
> Solgaleo
